Resting into Foundation

In this teaching during the period of the counting of the Omer, Aviva invites us to explore the foundations felt in the body with the breath as a companion for this grounding. This invitation expands to include that which is beyond our bodies, a vastness of life into which we can rest.

The attribute of strength and wise boundary making partnered with a good sigh

In this teaching during the period of the counting of the Omer, Aviva cycles through each of  the week's companion attributes to gevurah/strength and wise boundary making, landing with the Divine emanation of hod/release from striving and a rest into what is. She teaches hod, as the potency of 'the sigh,'  just as her voice teacher Fides Krucker has taught her these many years.

This is a podcast through the Institute for Jewish Spirituality.

Turning to death, an invitation to life

This teaching was offered to 300+ people from around the world who gather daily to sit with the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. It was inspired by the verse from Psalm 23, gam ki eylech..."Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for You are with me." It includes a melody written by Aviva for this text, a meditation practice centered on the breath, and a period of silence.
